JOB PURPOSE
To lead and manage a WFP Field Office to insure the effective and effective operation of mortal and fiscal coffers and delivery of WFP programs and conditioning. A large emphasis is placed upon structure and maintaining connections with original governments, UN agencies and other mates in the area to support WFP’s visibility.
KEY Liability( not each- inclusive)
Manage and lead WFP Provincial operations within the area of assignment to insure timely and effective deployment of food backing and other programmers.
unite with Government stakeholders for strategic hookups to rally coffers for WFP conditioning and positioning of WFP as specialized backing mate of the Government in the Province.
produce liaison with Academia, suppose Tanks, Technical Institutes, at Provincial position for WFP positioning.
Engage and maintain strategic exploration upstream policy dialogue to make Government capacity by substantiation generation.
Develop Annual Work Plans with Government mates.
Coordinate with Country Office to develop cost-effective and sustainable programmers with short, medium and long term issues for the Province that align with the objects of the Humanitarian Development Nexus( HDN) and Sustainable Development Goals( SDG).
Hold responsibility for the deployment of Country Office enterprise, programs and strategies in the fiefdom.
Effectively manage the Provincial Office to insure transparent and effective people operation and the continued development of a cohesive and high performing platoon.
insure effective use of fiscal coffers for achievement of set objects with guidance from the applicable units in the Country Office.
Hold responsibility for the security of WFP staff, operations, demesne and means in the Provincial Office to insure that WFP security and safety norms are locally set and followed.

OTHER SPECIFIC JOB Conditions
In support of WFP operations in the areas of nutrition, exigency response & preparedness food security, Resilience, Drought/ Flood Management, and Climate Change
Support the development and perpetration of the nutrition, food security, Resilience, Drought/ Flood Management, and Climate Change element in line with WFP programs, guidelines, Executive Board opinions, and directives.
give support to the development and perpetration of the nutrition, livelihood and adaptability programmers, in line with WFP’s programs, guidelines, Executive Board opinions, and directives.
unite with governments and other mates in relating where food backing can be usefully stationed at the original position and give support and specialized moxie for the planning, expression and perpetration of food backing programmers, including advice on the environment-specific transfer modalities( food, cash or validations).
Develop and coordinate data gathering and monitoring systems and conduct timely monitoring and evaluation conditioning.
Forge and nurture external hookups to ameliorate backing packages and support reciprocal strategies; identify implicit areas for cooperative approaches and enterprise.
Develop and sustain liaison with original government authorities, transnational and original NGOs, UN agencies, benefactors, civil society, heirs and other mates and media engaged in the field of food security.
Engage with heirs, check storehouse places and points where WFP goods are entered, in order to insure compliance with WFP programs and that progress is made in the achievement of design objects.
STANDARD minimal QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education Advanced University degree in Economics, International Development, Agriculture, Water, Food Security, Disaster Management, Social lore's or other affiliated field
Experience minimal 7 times of post-graduate professional/ directorial position work experience( operation of office or large platoon and in exigency response & preparedness food security, Resilience, Drought/ Flood Management, and Climate Change)
Language Fluency( position C) in English and Urdu language.
Wanted gests FOR ENTRY INTO THE part
1- Has developed, or supported in the development of multi-discipline work plans to support the achievement of WFP( or other association’s) strategic points within a defined area.
2- Has experience in field operations, rather in a difficulty duty station or exigency situation and in the areas of exigency response & preparedness food security, Resilience, Drought/ Flood Management, and Climate Change.
3- Has field experience via field reels or working in a sub-office, and through field bulletins.
4- Gained experience of analyzing original situations, assessing threat directly and supporting directors and leaders in decision making that's sensitive to this.
5- Gained broader exposure across areas within a function( i.e. policy, programmer etc.)
6- Has gained experience managing mid-size fiscal budgets, balancing multiple precedence's effectively. Has experience leading amid-size to large platoon to insure the effective delivery of objects.
7- Experience of development planning and budgeting with Government
